This watermelon slicer is a neat accessory. It helps seperate the flesh from the rind. And it helps from wasting a lot of the goodies. With first using this; I had difficulties figuring out how to use it. I couldn't get a uniform cut. But as I used it, I got the hang of it. I really liked seeing the rind of the watermelon looking almost bare of the flesh. I was able to just put the fruit in a bowl and cut up for ease of eating.
